A ring is the simplest form a light can take and one of the hardest to get right, since every millimetre of the circle is visible. Seen from below it reads as a line; from across the room, as a shape held in the air.
Rings suit round tables and square rooms, and the larger diameters can hold a double-height space without filling it. Several pieces here come in more than one diameter.
