Double-height spaces ask a different question: what holds the volume without filling it. A stairwell light is read from below, from above, and from every step in between, so it has to resolve from all three. These are the long drops, adjustable suspensions and chandeliers with the scale to carry a void, pieces measured in metres of cable as much as centimetres of glass.
The Stairwell
Long-drop pieces with the scale to hold a double-height space without filling it.
Every piece is made for you by its maker after you order. Most take eight to twelve weeks, and we confirm the date when you order.
