Nicolas Terzani

The second generation of the Florentine house, and the hand behind Mizu.

Nicolas Terzani is the son of Sergio Terzani, who founded the company in Florence in 1972, and he now leads the house's design work. The family's craft goes back a generation further, to his grandfather Orlando Terzani's wrought iron. Nicolas has said Terzani makes pieces closer to art than to product, chosen because the family likes them.

Mizu takes its forms from drops of water and stones, in single, cluster and multi-light versions. Soscik comes as a chandelier and a ceiling light, and Manta was designed with Dodo Arslan.
