A sphere throws light evenly in every direction, so it is the least directional form there is and among the most forgiving to live with. In opal or satin glass it reads as a single soft volume; in clear or faceted glass, as a point.
Single globes suit a bedside or a small table, and clusters of spheres at varied drops suit a stairwell. Several families here, Italamp's Aurora among them, run across pendant, wall, table and floor versions.
