Teo 2392/95 Ceiling Light

Teo is a ceiling light built as a flower. Italamp's own description is exact: a metal structure carrying a large semicircular glass diffuser at the centre, surrounded by smaller spheres that sit on its petals. The 2392/95 is 95cm across and only 17cm deep, so the whole flower lies close to the ceiling.

The glass is blown and given a satin finish, which matters for how Teo lights a room. Sixteen 3W G9 LED lamps sit behind the satin globes, and each globe reads as a soft, even sphere of light with no visible lamp. The metal petals are finished in gold nickel or shiny gold and catch the light reflected back from the glass.

Teo is designed by Italamp Studio, the in-house team. A larger 140cm version uses the same petal construction for bigger rooms.

Because it projects only 17cm, Teo gives a room with a standard 2.4m ceiling the presence of a chandelier without anything hanging into the space. At 95cm it suits a bedroom, a sitting room of around 4m by 4m or a dining room where a pendant would crowd a low ceiling. Centre it on the room, or on the table if it lights a dining area. It weighs 22kg, so the ceiling fixing needs to be planned with your electrician before installation.

TRIAC dimming is included as standard, so it works with a conventional trailing-edge dimmer, and Casambi control is available for app or scene control. The lamps are supplied at 2700K, with 3000K available.
