Tilight Ceiling Light

Tilight is a long, shallow box of art glass tiles, 145cm by 50cm and 20cm deep, carried on two metal stems from a rectangular ceiling plate. The tiles form the sides and the underside, held by small metal studs that set a regular grid against the irregular colour of the glass. LED strips totalling 180W run inside, so the box lights as one volume instead of a row of lamps.

The glass is variegated: pale veils, amber and darker patches run across each tile without repeating. The 2026 chart lists Variegated Ambra, the tile in the first image, and Variegated Clear. The deeper amber in the second image comes from the maker's site, so if a scheme needs that depth, raise it at specification. The visible metalwork comes in brushed nickel or brushed gold.

Multiforme gives an overall height of 50cm below the ceiling. Under a 2.4m ceiling, that puts the underside at 1.9m, about 115cm above a dining table. That is higher than the usual 75cm, and it keeps the view across the table open. It suits a table of about 200 to 240cm or a kitchen island. A 2.6m ceiling gives the 2.1m walk-under clearance for a hall or gallery, though a taller room lifts it further from any table, so settle the drop at specification. It weighs 35kg. The maker describes the tile structure as modular and customisable in size, so a longer run for a long table is a question for the studio.
