Lollipop Table Lamp

The smallest Lollipop: a 25cm disc of art glass standing upright on a plain black cylinder, 35cm high in all. Leo De Carlo's raised glass pattern sits on the front of the disc, and two 12W LEDs behind it light the colour from within.

It behaves more like a lit glass object than a table lamp. The light comes from the coloured face of the disc, so it will not serve for reading, but it holds a shelf, a console or the end of a sideboard on its own, particularly in a darker room. The maker's photograph shows the Sweetmint glass on a stone counter, where the greens carry across the room.

At 3kg and 10cm deep it sits on a narrow surface. Blueberry is the coolest of the three mixes and Strawberry the warmest. A pair works at either end of a long sideboard, and it pairs with the Lollipop wall discs in the same glass.

Multiforme is a manufactory of art glass lighting based at Trebaseleghe, in the Veneto.
