Iris Wall Light

Iris is a chandelier built around one flower. Glass irises in several sizes are spread through the whole piece, and the maker's glassmakers form each petal so that the fine ribbing of the real flower shows in the glass. On the wall light, one or two arms carry a flower that serves as the shade, so the lamp lights the petals from within.

The maker's photographs show the Straw, gold and white colourway, with white petals and flecks of gold, and a straw-coloured glass body. Lit, the flower turns a warm cream and the ribbing in the petal shows clearly. The other five colourways are the same as the Iris chandelier, from black and gold to polychrome.

The 1-light is 25cm wide, 45cm high and 35cm from the wall, and the 2-light 50cm wide, 50cm high and 30cm from the wall. Both are too deep for a narrow corridor, but they suit a bedroom, either side of a bed, or a dining room alongside an Iris chandelier. They weigh 2 and 3kg.
