Italamp has worked glass and crystal in the Veneto since 1975, founded by Matteo Vitadello and run today by Manuela and Roberta Vitadello. Everything is still designed and made in Italy, the crystal blown hot in the company's own workshops, then hand-modelled, engraved and cooled before a piece is ever assembled. The range runs from the cut-crystal classics the house built its name on to the contemporary glass and metal of its current designers, Stefano Traverso, Matteo Bianchi and Pio e Tito Toso among them.

Buying Italamp in the UK

Caspen carries 69 Italamp pieces, from the Rosè S1 pendant at £480 to £15,920, priced from Italamp's 2026 UK list.

Pulsa by Danilo De Rossi, Italamp's art director since 2016, hangs fluted blown glass shades each on its own cable. Piola, also his, is a lit screen two metres wide, built from bars of cast glass. Regolo Maxi by Stefano Traverso is a single 180cm bar with one sphere of marble on its suspension, and Clip by Pio and Tito Toso holds a sheet of textured glass between two slim rods.

For a stairwell, start with Pulsa Spira, which occupies between 110cm and 200cm below the ceiling. For glass composed to a particular room, Kaleido is specified and priced to a drawing.

Specification
The studio settles the finish, glass, colour temperature, drop and dimming protocol with you. Italamp lists 2700K as standard, with 3000K on request.
Timeline
Every piece is made to order. Most arrive within eight to twelve weeks and some sooner. The timeline for your piece is confirmed in writing before you pay.
Payment
In full at the point of order, once you have agreed the written specification.
Delivery
Free on every piece throughout mainland UK, by our own team or a specialist courier, on a date agreed with you.
Installation
Mains-voltage lighting must be fitted by a qualified electrician. Caspen can arrange installation, and the studio answers your electrician's questions before and during the work.
Bespoke
Bespoke sizes and finishes go through the studio. Commission a piece.
