Rosè 3050/S3 Cluster Pendant

Rosè 3050/S3 gathers three glass bowls on one round canopy, each hung on its own cable so the three can sit at different heights. The bowls are blown glass with a pink gold coating on an iron grey structure: metallic and reflective when the lamps are off, a warm, translucent rose once they are lit.

Rosè takes the silhouette of a wine glass and turns it into a lamp. The bowl is blown glass with a metallic coating, and the finishes are chosen to recall the shades of rosé wine, which the collection is named for. Pink gold is the finish closest to the wine itself. Each bowl takes a 7W tubular E14 LED lamp, set upright inside the glass so the whole bowl lights evenly.

Danilo De Rossi has practised as an architect and designer in Venice since the 1980s. He took a master's degree in lighting design at the Milan Polytechnic, led creative direction at Leucos from 1996 to 2015 and at De Majo Murano from 1994, and has been Italamp's art director since 2016.

The three-light cluster is the Rosè for a defined spot. Over a round table for four, a small kitchen island or a breakfast table, the 33cm canopy holds the three glasses close together; set them at staggered heights for a looser group, or level for a tidier line. In a stairwell or beside a bed, one cluster fills the space a single pendant would leave thin. Each glass is 30cm tall on cables adjustable from 10cm to 100cm, so on a 2.4m ceiling the lowest bowl can sit 75cm to 85cm above a table. TRIAC dimming is included, with Casambi control available.

The same pink gold glass is available on the single 3050/S1, so a cluster over the table and singles by the bed can match.

Made in Italy by Italamp, which has made lighting in Italy since 1975 and is based at Cadoneghe, near Padua.
