Nappe is Marco Zito's reading of the tassels that trim the draperies of Venetian palaces, redrawn as lighting. Ten multi-coloured metal pendants, no two sharing a profile, hang from two metres of cable with brass highlights and glass diffusers of differing lengths, and because each drop fixes to the ceiling independently, the line, arc or cluster they form is decided by the room rather than the factory. A 50W LED system delivers 7,500 lumens across the set.
