Honice is cut from stone. Slabs of natural onyx sit in an abstract arrangement around a matt gold band, with LEDs washing up and down so the stone lights from within and the veining does the decorating; the onyx is natural, so the figuring on yours repeats on no one else's. This is the 200cm bar, a 65W system delivering 11,600 lumens, two metres of lit stone for a long table.

Masiero remains a family company, founded in 1981, and every piece is built start to finish at its works at Casale sul Sile outside Venice, which is why made-to-order sizes and finishes are possible at all.
