Eva is a chandelier in the old grammar. Ten cylindrical aluminium shades turn around a curved central column, with flat candle drips below each one and droplets along every arm doing what they have always done, catching the light and lending volume. This version is finished in dark grey, a metre and ten across, made for an entrance hall or dining room.

It comes from Masiero of Casale sul Sile, outside Venice, where the family has built lighting since 1981 and the traditional Venetian chandelier remains the starting point for everything the company makes.
