Sarella Pendant Light

Sarella builds a waterfall. Cascading metal discs and crystal beading wrap around fine glass arms, so metal, bead and glass fall together and the surface shimmers in movement rather than in points. This is the pendant in Stainless Steel.

The crystal is Schonbek's Heritage Handcut, made in Europe the slow way: each facet cut one at a time on iron and sandstone wheels, then polished with marble dust on a wooden wheel, to patterns replicating gems that hung in the castles of the Habsburg empire. Schonbek has built crystal lighting since 1870, beginning in Bohemia under Adolph Schonbek, and pieces like this are why the name still carries weight.
