Bagatelle takes the traditional hanging lantern and redraws it with a light touch, dressing the familiar frame in a refined fall of crystal so a form everyone knows arrives carrying far more fire than it ever did. Other finishes are available to order. This is the wall light in Gold.
The crystal is Schonbek's Heritage Handcut, made in Europe the slow way: each facet cut one at a time on iron and sandstone wheels, then polished with marble dust on a wooden wheel, to patterns replicating gems that hung in the castles of the Habsburg empire. Schonbek has made crystal lighting since 1870, when Adolph Schonbek founded the house in Bohemia.
