Antesia's compositions gather the collection's four glass forms under one canopy, so a single fitting holds the whole sequence Stella Gianola and Giovanni Battista Gianola set out to capture: a gather of molten glass on the blowpipe opening, stage by stage, into a finished vessel. Small domes of acid-etched pressed glass hang among mouth-blown bubbles of transparent, light amber or smoky glass, each blown piece holding the smaller form inside it, like moments from one object caught at different points in time.
The domed caps are galvanised metal in Masiero's G09 golden bronze, a polished earth tone, and each pendant hangs on its own black cable, so the drops can be set to step the forms up and down through the space. Masiero showed Antesia at its Milan showroom in Via Statuto for Milan Design Week in April 2026. The company has made lighting at Casale sul Sile, near Treviso, since 1981, and makes each piece through the full cycle, from the metalwork up, in its own workshops.
In the room
The round pebble canopies, Ø30 to Ø100cm, hang the glass as a loose bunch: the nine-light C9 PB 80 suits a sitting room or a round table of 140 to 160cm, and the 13-light C13 PB 100 fills a stairwell or a double-height hall, with cables up to 300cm. The long cobble canopies follow a table. Use the C7 CB 120 or C10 CB 120 over a dining table of 200 to 260cm, and the C13 CB 160 over one of 280cm or more.
The clusters are architectural. Cluster 24 drops 254cm through a stair void; Cluster 25 runs 413cm along a reception desk or a banquette; Cluster 54 and Cluster 80 are for hotel lobbies and atria, where 80 pendants spread over a Ø335cm field. Light amber gives the warmest room, transparent the most sparkle, smoky the most graphic outline by day.
Made by Masiero in Casale sul Sile, Treviso.
