A 24-light architectural chandelier from Cycasi’s Icicles collection, mixing 35 cm and 45 cm glass.
Stalactites form in the dark, slowly, in caves no one is meant to see. Each one records the path of water through stone over centuries, and no two are the same.
Icicles, designed by Coen Munsters for Cycasi, takes that quiet, accumulated beauty and brings it into the room. Hand-blown satin borosilicate glass elements, 35 or 45 cm long, hang from a polished brass base on slim cables. This configuration draws 24 of them together, mixing both lengths across a base of Ø 77 cm.
The light through satin glass is diffused and warm. Specified well, in the right space, Icicles reads as a fitting that has always been there.
The wider collection runs from a single pendant to a 32-light architectural chandelier, with wall, ceiling and table forms drawn in the same material language.
