Hung with 2.1m clear beneath it, the top of the column sits at about 3.4m, so a 3.5m ceiling is the practical minimum. The 203cm chain then carries it to a ceiling of about 5.4m before any extra length is needed. Seen from a landing, the two tiers of arms spread well beyond the column and the piece reads in the round.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOver a round table of 180 to 200cm, a base about 80cm above a 75cm table puts the top of the column at about 283cm, so a 3m ceiling works with about 17cm of chain.
