Each butterfly sits on a fine wire in the middle of the cage, and with the LEDs on, the rods carry the light down their length. The floor lamp lifts the cage to head height on a slim black nickel tripod, for a total height of 185cm.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe rods come in five colours: Pagliesco, a pale straw, Ametista, Olive, Cornflower and Sapphire. The butterflies are shown in clear glass with coloured edges. The maker photographs the floor lamp in Pagliesco against dark panelling, and that is the combination to copy: the rods turn pale gold and the clear butterflies read clearly against the dark behind them.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIt takes up about 50 by 60cm of floor and weighs 20kg.
