Italamp describes the collection as made of brushed brass with green and opal glass, intended to work in hospitality and commercial interiors as well as at home, and the floor lamp has that contract-grade simplicity: a stem, a base and the glass.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIn the room, the base is 30cm across, so it fits beside a lounge chair or at the end of a sofa, and at 160cm the head sits above the eye line of someone seated. The integrated 6.4W module gives 740 lumens at a colour rendering over 90, split up and down: enough to read by, with a soft glow on the wall behind. TRIAC dimming is included as standard. The olive green suits dark panelled or painted walls and timber; Italamp also makes the head in white and agatha glass, a warmer amber-brown, in brushed light gold.
